During your holiday get-togethers, good food and good wine are often a gathering place for guests. When buying wine for your holiday party this year, I invite you to try the variety of wines
One Hope Wine has to offer. When you purchase any of their wines, 50% of One Hope Wine's profits will go to charities for a variety of causes. Enjoy a great holiday feast while giving back to these charities. Each variety donates to a specific cause.
Chardonnay: profits support the fight against breast cancer
Merlot: profits promote AIDS awareness
Cabernet Sauvignon: supports the fight against Autism
Sauvignon Blanc: profits go to saving our home, planet Earth and the environment
Zinfandel: proceeds donated to support our troops
OneHope's 8 founders have turned what started as a mission to help a friend in her fight against cancer to a thriving business with one principal in mind- Giving Back is Good Business. During this time of year, that is something we all think about. In these economic times, helping others is tough when we can hardly help ourselves. If you are considering having win at your holiday party, make OneHope Wines your first choice for not only yourself, but for others out there in need.
OneHope is all about making the world a better place and giving consumers an easy way to make a difference. OneHope's award winning California wines are produced in Sonoma County and handcrafted by wine maker, David Elliot.
My family recently had the opportunity to sample each variety of wine OneHope has to offer. I prefer fruity drinks, which made the
Sauvignon Blanc my preferred choice. My husband prefers the darker wines, and has tried a much greater variety of wines than I have. He says they are great, as did his family when we took a bottle to their home during our Thanksgiving holiday. What I like most is that their profits go to people in need. I've never heard of a wine business that offers that. Merci beaucoup OneHope!

Preserve them for a later time with
My Heart Will. Many of us preserve photographs, letters, and sentimental values on our shelves, in boxes, or in the attic. But, no one can tell if these memories will be preserved or will even be kept long after we are gone.
Creating a Heartwill will preserve all your precious memories in a safe place online. It's like a virtual online safe box for all your precious memories including photos, letters, recordings, and copies of memorabilia you want to pass on to your loved ones.
You can also create letters for your friends and family to send in the future, enabling you to speak to your loved ones long after your time has passed. Now is the best time to start creating a
digital photo album or "diary" of important facts and memories you cherish. The memories you save in your safe box can only be viewed by those you want as well.
You can become a member for 10 years at

Learning to ride a bike is not easy for most kids. It can take years of practice on a tricycle, then a bike with training wheels. Kids will eventually want to have a "big kid" bike. With the
Strider Running Bike, kids will no longer have to go the long, drawn out (and painful!) experience of learning to ride a bike. Designed for children, ages 1 - 5, the Strider running bike holds several advantages over ordinary beginner’s bikes. This bike is designed without pedals to teach little ones to balance a bike. And, that is the hardest part of the whole experience.
Naturally, the earlier you start, the better. Kids will have more time to learn the ropes, and will be on a "big kid" bike well before his preschool pals. Learning to balance a bike without having to pedal first enables them to actually figure it out naturally. Learning to balance takes more practice and is hard enough without having to coordinate pedaling to get around.

If your child can walk, they can ride a Strider bike.
Strider Sports sent us a pink Running bike for Allie to experience. The bike comes ready to assemble, including its own wrench. Allie is a little cautious with all she does, but she eventually got on her new bike and was ready to go! The seat is height adjustable, so it'll grow with her. Practice makes perfect, and soon she'll be able to get the Princess bike she wants. We told her she would get one once she's able to ride a "big kid" bike like her brothers. She is more than ready to learn with that incentive!
Of course, learning to get to the point of riding a bike without training wheels takes time. But, I'm anticipating she will be there well before her brothers were able to. Srider's first test rider- after riding a Strider prototype for only six months -- was riding a two-wheel pedal bike without training wheels at age three. Maybe Allie will be able to in a few months, but even at age 4 that is still a great head start!
