Hunt Her Down by Roxanne St. Claire
Wow! What a great book! I am pretty picky about what I read for enjoyment and this one definitely hit the spot! I was thrilled to find the Bullet Catcher series and I saw that other readers of Roxanne St. Claire's bullet catcher series say that they are addicting i checked on Twitter :) In this book we meet Maggie a young lady dating a drug smuggler and money laundering family member. She also has a love affair with a man that unknowing to her is part of the FBI. A big drug bust happens and Maggie believes Michael dies, part of the plan of the FBI to cover up his involvement, and she was about to share with him that he was going to be the father of her child. Most of the drug dealers go to prisoner. Maggie wasn't put in prison for her involvement and marries Smitty, her husband agree to never tell that Quinn, the young boy is the child of another man. Smitty passes away and Ramon, the old boyfriend of Maggie is released looking for Maggie who carries a secret fortune. Excitement brews as Maggie meets up with Michael now known as Dan and Dan discovers that Quinn is his child. Kidnapping, gunshots, deceit, action. You won't be able to put this book down once you start reading it and will want to immediately go out and pick up the rest of the series. I loved this book in the bullet catcher series and can't wait to read the rest of them! Ruthie says it is a keeper!
